LAS TERRAZAS
Bouzas (1999-2005)
This group of eleven houses is in the upper part of Bouzas, in a steep slope that allows the different constructions situated in it to be staggered and have good views of the sea.
The project is built on horizontal levels, with a lower zone of arrival and relation with the terrain, a body of two more continuous heights that rests on these bases and extends for each group of houses and a higher level of cover and independent studio that takes advantage of the views and the sun. Each stratum is treated differently by lightening the perception of the whole. This logic leads to materials, ranging from stone in the bases to aluminum roofing.
Starting from the premise that the access is to be made by car in most of the occasions a wide ramp of entrance is constructed that forms an open gallery and connects the spaces around the house.
