José Javier Villacé and Martín de Cominges collaborate since 1998 and founded the architectural practice Villacé y Cominges in Vigo, in 2002. Over time, Villacé y Cominges has developed projects of different scales both locally and internationally.

During this trajectory, the commitment to an architecture of high quality has been maintained, focused on the construction of significant and vital places, and involved with both the physical and the cultural environment.

His projects are published and exhibited regularly, and among the acknowledgments received are the COAG Award (in 2008 and 2016) or the Grande Area Awards.

The practice is currently composed of eight architects and coordinates in the various projects carried out a network of collaborators in different disciplines, with the aim of offering an integral approach to the project, understood as an open and collaborative process that must integrate and respond to increasingly complex demands and operate at different levels, balancing the search for new solutions with the feasibility of carrying them out.
