HOUSE IN NAVIA

Vigo (2010-12)

This house is situated on a plot of small size and steep slope. The construction is separated from the ground, allowing to enjoy the land and taking to the upper floors the main rooms of the house, with better views and sunshine.

The façade is designed with an arrangement of voids that allows a good illumination of the interior spaces and contributes a unitary image to the whole of the house. The materials, concrete and polycarbonate, reinforce the compositional game established between hollows and masses as well as the relationship between the volumes of the stair core and the cubic prism in which the house is developed, giving the whole a strong presence.
